Kindergarteners were introduced to the primary colors, and learned how to mix them to make new colors.  They created a watercolor painting of a pumpkin, whcih they painted using only colors they mixed.  In the drawing center, students practiced tracing and drawing shapes and using crayons to make color combinations.  In the mixed media center, they practiced cutting and gluing and used a variety of materials to make masks.
